Online Therapy & Coaching

Supporting cycle breakers to break generational cycles of trauma.

You are the healthiest person in your family. You’ve endured a lot. It wasn’t until you got older that you realized that what happened in your family wasn’t normal. You love your family, but you had to grow up way too soon.

Deep down you don't believe that you deserve praise. Even though you are different from your parents and would never behave as they did, you feel scared that what happened left a mark on you.  Sometimes you even doubt yourself and wonder if there's something wrong with you, or even if what happened was really all that bad.

My clients feel the same way. They are resilient and determined to be healthier than the families that raised them. They know that their lives would have been very different if their parents had sought help and sought to better themselves through self-awareness and healing. They don't want to make the same mistakes in their own lives.

I call them Cycle Breakers. They are determined to try and heal and break the negative patterns that were modeled to them.

But breaking cycles and healing childhood trauma is not easy work. It requires walking into unknown territory and facing struggle, confusion, and painful truths about the past.

Before my clients come to see me, they feel that they must walk this path alone, or that nobody will really get how hard it is. They are unsure if they can truly heal and break the cycle.

You deserve to feel confident in your capacity to heal and live a life that truly serves you.

I can help you get there.

Services

Trauma Therapist

Online Therapy For Cycle Breakers

Throughout therapy, I use a variety of tools to help you heal and break negative patterns. We may use EMDR, a brain-based technique using eye movement. I also incorporate body-based techniques such as vagal toning to help you process emotions and increase your awareness of what your body is communicating to you.  Our mental health is directly linked to the health of our brains and bodies, and I like to incorporate both. Therapy often starts by processing current stressors which leads to deeper connections to the past. Focusing on either is good. As your therapist, I act as a guide and will help you get to where you need to go.  Learn more about therapy and who I work well with.

Enneagram Therapy

Enneagram Therapy

Therapy integrated through the lens of the Enneagram.  One of the most effective tools I've ever found for bringing about personal change is the Enneagram. When used with therapy, it has a significant effect. My area of expertise is using the Enneagram to help individuals dealing with anxiety, tense family situations, and traumatic childhood experiences. How you are affected by all of these things and how you attempt to deal with them depends on your Enneagram type.  As an Enneagram therapist, I can not only help you identify the areas where you are getting in your own way, I can help you do the hard work of challenging yourself and growing into the healthier version of your type.

Enneagram Coaching

Enneagram Coaching

Enneagram coaching is goal driven and faster paced.  We process how your Enneagram type is showing up and focus on doing the work of your type. While this can include processing childhood experiences and deep emotions, it’s different from counseling in that we use the Enneagram as our main tool.   I will provide you with direct feedback and give you information on your Enneagram type and subtype. If you have studied the Enneagram and your type is unclear to you, I can help you get clarity with a typing interview.  Learn more about Enneagram coaching and who I work well with.

Enneagram Training

Enneagram Training

Professional Enneagram training for organizations and therapists.  Customize Enneagram training to your team’s needs:  Stronger leadership, sharpened interpersonal skills, better working relationships, and stronger teams.  Therapists gain the extra knowledge of how to use the Enneagram with their clients.  Therapist training is customized according to client population and needs with a focus on how your Enneagram type shows up in the therapy room.

“We tend to repeat a lot of the same patterns and cycles that were modeled to us as children because it’s what we know and it's how we learned to survive life. Cycle breakers are different.
